Coachella 2015 on a $9 Camera

In the last year, I have been focusing the majority of my time on academics and the development of my new music blog. As a result, there has been little to no time for other side projects, including this blog. This Spring, I attended Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California, and wanted to do something unique from a photography standpoint to capture the experience. Fed up with having to lug around my heavy DSLR with various interchangeable lenses, I decided to take a simpler approach.  I purchased 4 disposable cameras from CVS, one for each day, and set off for what transpired to be some of the best  days of my life. The festival featured incredible art installations along with acts such as AC/DC, Jack White, Drake, Kaskade, The Weekend, Porter Robinson, Alesso, Florence And The Machine, and many more. Here are a fewprints that I was able to scan in high quality. Enjoy!

Boston Strong

Even though I'm already in "get me to New York" mode , I have a few days here in Boston before that happens. Aside from having dinner with some of the rents friends and attending an award ceremony, my trip here is "agendaless." This should leave plenty of time for exploration and some good old photos. Sounds a lot better than the usual walks around the city listening to my parents reminisce on their glory days if you ask me. Given that they spent 4 of there collegiate years here and many more afterwards, our trips to Boston serve as more of a homecoming for them than a vacation for me. But hey, can't complain. Regardless of the reason that takes you to this great city, there is no denying that you're going to see many historical sights, great street performers, and a lot of Red Sox fans.
